Moneris has announced the launch of PAYD PRO, which allows small businesses to accept credit and debit card payments using a mobile phone.
The solution consists of a mobile application and a chip-and-pin compatible reader, which works with contactless or magstripe technology, which uses Bluetooth technology to securely connect to Apple iOS or Google Android devices.
PAYD PRO will be available in February 2014 and will accept Interac, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa cards.
