Bank of America Merchant Services has announced the creation of its new Canadian merchant-services operation.
Based in Toronto, the Canadian office of Bank of America Merchant Services will offer its services both to its U.S. customers doing business in Canada, and to new Canadian customers.
Bank of America Merchant Services, a joint venture between First Data and Bank of America, is the number-one-rated electronic payments processor in the United States, with more than 300 000 active merchants processing more than 13.5 billion transactions annually.
