Tim Hortons has launched its mobile barcode payment app in its Canadian and U.S. restaurants.
Tim Hortons’ mobile barcode payment technology works with a prepaid Tim Card added to the TimmyMe mobile app. Users can pay at participating Tim Hortons restaurants by scanning a barcode.
The TimmyMe application is available for iOS, Android, and BlackBerry 10 devices.
Tim Hortons has also announced that its TimmyMe app is compatible with Apple’s Passbook, making it possible to access the Tim Card using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.
